Yuusuke Takeda (武田たけだ 祐輔ゆうすけ, Takeda Yūsuke^?) is a character of the 5-toubun no Hanayome series. He is a student of Class 3-1. He is introduced as the antithesis of Futaro Uesugi in terms of appearance, personality and popularity.

Appearance

Yuusuke is a tall and handsome young man with light-colored shaggy hair, light-colored or dark-colored eyes and there are sparkles drawn around him, which implys his popularity.

Personality

Yuusuke is shown to be a prideful individual, being hurt when he finds that Fuutarou Uesugi never noticed him despite being ranked second in their grade for most of their time in high school.  Also because of his pride, he desired to score higher than Fuutarou in a fair competition, throwing out the test answers his father gave him.

• The name Yuusuke means "assistant" (祐) (yū) and "help" (輔) (suke).
• Yuusuke's surname Takeda means "martial" (武) (take) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (da).
  • Takeda is a reference to the Battles of Kawanakajima between Takeda Shingen and Uesugi Kenshin during the Sengoku period of Japan.
