Before the school field trip, Maeda met up with a disguised Miku Nakano, who he thought was Ichika Nakano, and asked her to be his dance partner at the bonfire dance. Thanks to Fuutarou's intervention, Maeda danced with another girl at the bonfire who later becomes his future wife.
