The Changing Ordinary Days (わりはじめるにちじょう, Kawari-hajimeru Nichijō?) is the ninety-seventh chapter of the 5-toubun no Hanayome manga series.

This chapter is a double issue of Weekly Shounen Magazine #36 and #37. There are 4 color pages in this chapter to commemorate the 2nd year anniversary of the series.[1]


Story Impact

  • Nino gets a B and Itsuki gets a D for their mock university exam.
  • Nino decides to invite Maruo to the School Festival.

  • Miku tells Nino about Fuutarou's mom and her baking a bread for him.[page 8]

  • Itsuki suspects that the flowers in their mother's grave were from Maruo.[page 15]
  • The quintuplets plan to invite Maruo to visit them during School Festival.[page 16]
  • There are some girls who oppose Nino's decision for the festival, three of them suspect that Nino doing it to gain Takeda's attention.[page 18]
  • One of them likes Takeda, and comments that she is no match if the rival is Nino.[page 19]
  • Fuutarou declares to the three girls that Nino actually likes him (instead of Takeda).[page 20]
  • Maruo once set up and prepare cooking ingredients for Nino to try.[page 22-23]
  • Nino decides to invite Maruo.[page 24]
  • Miku will be having a date with Fuutarou.[page 24]
