Our Day Off ① (今日きょうはお休やすみ, Kyō wa Oyasumi^?) is the seventh chapter of the 5-toubun no Hanayome manga series.

Summary

While planning his next tutoring session, Fuutarou is visited by Itsuki who gives him his first paycheck that he spends to bring his sister, Raiha, to an arcade. Itsuki, unable to reject Raiha, accompanies them. They play games and take a picture together. As they are about to leave, the other Nakano sisters appear and invite them to visit the fireworks festival.

Story Impact

• Fuutarou receives his first payment. Itsuki says that he started a change among the sisters.
• Raiha, Fuutarou, and Itsuki take a picture together, in which Raiha comments that they look like a family.

Trivia

• Itsuki is the second Nakano Quintuplet who gets her picture taken alongside Fuutarou. However, she is the first Nakano Quintuplet who took a picture with Fuutarou properly.  ^{[page 19]}

• Yukata Designs
  • Ichika's yukata design seems to have no specific theme although the pattern seems to explode from a single point which may allude to both the number (1) in her name and her more hidden explosive nature underneath her facade.
  • Nino's peculiar yukata design seems to be themed around "Alice in Wonderland". This includes western patterns on her collar and obi, the clock design on her obi, and the presumably white rabbit patterns on her yukata. This might allude to her character as being stuck in her own wonderland, and not wanting Fuutarou to intrude into it. In addition, the rabbit is also Nino's favorite animal which is also her phone cover's design.
  • Miku's yukata design is actually based on an actual design by Bonheur Saisons Yukata collection. The design of a swallow is usually associated with good luck, fidelity in marriage, and fertility.
  • Yotsuba's four-petals flower yukata design alludes to both her number (4) and her name-flower, 4-leaf clover (Yotsuba)
• Time-related Notes:
  • The date announced by the radio is Sunday, September 30th. In reality, this aligns with the 2018 calendar, implying that the story starts in 2018.
    • In addition, if aligned with September 11th to 18th from Chapter 4, those two will be on Monday
