5Toubun no Hanayome (五等分の花嫁, Gotōbun no Hanayome?), also known as The Quintessential Quintuplets, is a Japanese romance manga series written and illustrated by Negi Haruba. The series has been serialized weekly in Weekly Shounen Magazine since August 2017 and published digitally in English by Kodansha Comics since June 2018. As of March 2020, there are 13 volumes published with more than 10 million digital and paperback sales.
Fuutarou Uesugi is a poor & anti-social top student. One day, he gets a job tutoring a rich family that's new to the town. Fuutarou's soon-to-be students are revealed to be his new classmate, Itsuki Nakano, and her quintuplet sisters. Despite the girls' poor first impression of Fuutarou, he tries seriously to do his job, only to find they have terrible grades and terribly complex personalities.
The Lake (or Park) (tentative name) is a recurring location in the 5-toubun no Hanayome series. This place is heavily based on real-life Nakanoike Park (中ノ池公園?) in Tokai, Aichi Prefecture. The lake is located presumably near the Uesugi Family's Residence due to being in a walking distance from it.
Volume 7, 8, and 9 has Nakano Quintuplets' hand emphasizing their personalized finger on their face and touching the lips (from Quintuplets Finger Game):
Ayane Sakura initially planned to voice all of the quintuplets in the anime. This was ultimately not implemented due to concerns over the stress that having to voice all the quintuplets would cause to Sakura's voice and throat. Source
